I’m delighted to be able to introduce myself to you all and let you know about a very important initiative that I hope some of you will have already participated in. Back in July, we sent our Inclusion Monitoring Form to all Members; the purpose of this form is to better understand the true make up of our organisation so that we are better positioned to address inequalities where they exist. You are still able to complete the form via the Middle Temple website. I would like to use this opportunity to encourage you to take part in this initiative, and I look forward to updating you in the near future about the changes your participation will have achieved.
Patrice Blackstock was appointed Diversity & Inclusion Coordinator at Middle Temple in February 2022. She has over 10 years’ experience advocating for vulnerable children, young people and adults in the Education, Social Work and Youth Justice sectors. She has previously worked as an English Lecturer, Education Coordinator and Adoption Panel Member. She has also volunteered extensively within her local community, most recently as a Restorative Justice Panel Member and School Governor.
